SUMMARY:Modifying ExaStencils for Climate Models
DESCRIPTION:Minisymposium\nComputer Science and Applied Mathematics, Clima
te and Weather\n\nModifying ExaStencils for Climate Models\n\nKöstler\n\nT
he ExaStencils project started as a domain-specific language for multigrid
solvers on structured grids. Meanwhile, the external DSL ExaSlang is matu
re enough to used to express full application models. As an example w
e will show whole-program generation for the shallow water equations on bl
ock-structured grids using a higher discontinuous Galerkin discretization.
Furthermore, the generated code is highly scalable and run on current sup
 ercomputers like Piz Daint.
