The interdisciplinary dialogue is a plenary session introduced last year for the first time within the PASC Conference Series program. The aim is to provide a relaxed and engaging forum where the audience can gain insight into the research of a specific domain. To this end, the session takes the form of an “interview” between two prominent computational scientists from two different disciplines.

The PASC19 Organizing Team is pleased to announce that the Interdisciplinary Dialogue will feature Professor Eleni Chatzi from the Institute of Structural Engineering at ETH Zurich, who will interview Professor Fangli Qiao from the First Institute of Oceanography, China, about his domain of expertise – ocean-related computational research.

Additional details will follow.
